McFARLANE, Marcia Rosaline (Burns). 75. It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Marcia Rosaline McFarlane of Burton, NB, on Wednesday, September 10th, 2014 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born in Nictaux Falls, June 13, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Muriel (Rees) Burns. Marcia was also predeceased by her late husband Alexander McFarlane of Cape Breton, NS.
Marcia is survived by her daughter Judith Marline Williams (Glenn), Berwick, NS; sons Bryan Darrell McFarlane (Theresa), Burton, NB and Robert Alexander McFarlane (Janet), Aylesford, NS; brother, Robert Burns, Waterville, NB; sisters, Geraldine Yorke, Waterville, NB; Kathleen Bent, Waterville, NB; Pauline Copper, Ontario; Laura Leavitt, Aylesford, NS, and Loretta Connors, Rockland, NB. Marcia also leaves behind nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will take place at Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home (Berwick Chapel), Berwick, NS, on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke, Diabetic or Alzheimers Society, or a charity of your choice.
