Obituary of Joan Marie Lillian Hall

Hall, Joan Marie Lillian (RN) age 84 years of Wolfville, passed away peacefully at home with her husband Keith by her side on July 9, 2014.
Born in Montreal, QC; she was the daughter of the late Piercy and Gertrude (Stubbs) Hunter.
Joan was a member of the St. Johns Anglican Church in Wolfville, Alumni of the Saint John High School and graduate of the Saint John School of Nursing. She was an associate member of the RCMP Veterans Association.
Joan was involved in nursing for all of her life; she worked at the Saint John General Hospital, Victoria Public Hospital in Fredericton, Moncton City Hospital, Camp Hill Hospital in Halifax and Dalhousie Family Medicine Med School, retiring from active nursing in 1983.
Left with fond and loving memories are her loving husband of 59 years Keith Hall; son David and his wife Rosemary of Gaspereau; daughter Heather Coldwell and her husband Stephan of Gaspereau; brother William Hunter and his wife Marion of Rothesay, NB; special grandchildren Matthew Hirtle of Toronto, Jesse Hirtle of Cambridge Station, Morgan and Stephen Hall of Gaspereau; also by several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her daughter Marilyn Marie Hall in 2008 and sister Barbara Reeves in 2003.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at 2pm
from the St. Johns Anglican Church in Wolfville with Rev. Sandra Fyfe officiating.
