Suzanne & Scott - I have such fond memories of your mum and dad as we were neighbours when we were living on Roosevelt Avenue. Your mum had such a sense of humour and fun. She had a long fullfilling life and It's comforting to know that she rests in peace. As you know, my mum passed away last April - there's a void but always the fond memories.
I send my condolences and big hugs. I will be in NS by the end of the week. Please let me know when you are having a memorial service.
Gwen

SUZANNE:I was very saddened to read of your Mom's passing.Although she had a long life it is still very difficult to be without a mother.I remember her kind words sent to me when my mother passed away. She was a lovely lady and Dick always liked her wit!My thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time.
My thoughts and sympathy are with all of the family. I have so many fond memories of Joan over the years from this past Christmas far back to when I was just a little girl. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten at all of our family get togethers. - Maggie Stewart
Joan was a beautiful woman who will be missed by all those that loved her. She accepted me and my family as one of her own. Please know that you have our deepest sympathies and we will remember her always.
I read the obituary today for Joan, and wish to send my sympathy to Scott and Suzanne (and other family members I have not likely met). I have very warm recollections of both Joan and Vic, and how nice they always were to me growing up on Roosevelt Avenue and over at the Swinden cottage near River John. Your parents were great people.

Suzanne and Scott: So sorry to read of Joan's passing. Joan was a good friend to me during my first year in "the building". My deepest sympathy to you and your families.
