Schofield (Burns), Helen Isabel – 72 of Waterville, passed away Tuesday May 27, 2014 at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Nictaux, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Muriel (Reese) Burns. Helen is survived by husband, Kenneth Schofield, Waterville, children, Darlene (Rex) Veinotte, Black Rock, Janice (Dale) Joudrey, Lake Paul, Wade (Bev) Schofield, Berwick, Jerry (Magdalen) Schofield, Berwick, Kenneth Schofield, Berwick, Jeffery (Amanda) Schofield, Berwick, Anthony Schofield, Waterville; brother, Robert (Carolyn) Burns, Waterville; sisters, Geraldine (Ralph) Yorke, Waterville, Kathleen (Howard) Bent, Waterville, Marcia McFarland, NB., Pauline Copper, Ont., Laura (Garnet Dominey) Leavitt , Aylesford, Loretta (Wallace) Connors, Rockland; 16 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Friday May 30th at Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, Berwick Chapel, 192 Commercial St., Berwick (902-538-9900) where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday May 31st. Reverend Sarah Scott officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in Berwick Cemetery.
