Obituary of Edith Eleanor Seamon

Seamon, Edith Eleanor age 95 years of Grandview Manor and formerly of Aylesford, passed away peacefully at her residence on May 6, 2014.
Born in Aylesford on January 28, 1919; she was the daughter of the late Edward and Fannie (Tupper) Foster.
Edith was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Left with fond and loving memories are her sons David (Barbara) McDermott of Aylesford and Steven (Anita) Seamon of Kingston; grandchildren Deborah McDermott (Gary), David McDermott, Julie McDermott, Mike McDermott (Janet), Joel Seamon (Desiree), Jacqueline Seamon (Dominic); great grandchildren Samantha and Kevin McDermott, Terrell and Mya McDermott.
Predeceased by her first husband Gordon McDermott and second husband George Seamon; grandson Matthew; brothers John, Albert, Wilfred, Roger and Charles; sisters Inez, Hilda, Rowena, Nina, Jessie and Edna.
Edith was a member of the Aylesford Baptist Church and enjoyed painting, gardening, reading and the outdoors.
Visitation will be held from 4-7pm on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, Berwick Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Friday, May 9, 2014 from the Aylesford Union Baptist Church with Rev. Clyde Lowe officiating.
Interment to follow in the Aylesford Union Cemetery.
