Obituary of Barbara Ann Young

Young, Barbara Ann – Age 64 of Berwick passed away on May 2, 2014 at the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Port Williams, Barbara was a daughter of the late John and Reta Graves. She held various jobs throughout the years while spending her spare time gardening, enjoying the great outdoors. She also liked to watch television, especially game shows and movies. Barbara is survived by her soul mate of 16 years, Blake Pelton, Berwick; son Ronald Young (Sue Strum), Aylesford; sister Donna Graves, Berwick; brothers, Walter (Dolly), New Brunswick; Stephen, Halifax; Eugene (Brenda) of Kentville; Harry, Michael, Ronald (Carol), all of Berwick; Robert and John Jr. (Minnie) both of Kingston two grandchildren Joseph and Chantelle Young and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her husband Ronald Young; grandparents Malcolm and Gladys Graves and Charles and Lavinia Graves; brothers Edgar, Gary and Richard. The family would like to thank the staff and nurses of the ICU unit at Valley Regional for their compassion. Visitation will take place on Monday, May 5, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm at Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, Berwick Chapel (192 Commercial St) from which the funeral will take place on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 2pm with Rev.
