COMEAU, Joan Mary - 68 of Weymouth, Digby County, passed away peacefully at the Digby General Hospital on February 26, 2014. Born in Weymouth, she was the daughter of the late Nelson and Eunice Comeau. She is survived by her common-law husband Don Dalhgren; daughters Lisa Melanson (Robert Melanson); Michelle Goodwin (the late Brent Goodwin); Lynn MacAlpine (Barry MacAlpine); son Laurie Comeau (Crystal); their father Alain Comeau; grandsons , Dawson, Tristan, Aaron, granddaughters; Yvelle and Eva. Joan's family meant the world to her and she loved family gatherings where she was at her happiest. She also loved her two dogs Chloe and Ginger who cuddled with her for endless hours. She will be deeply and sadly missed by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 1,2014 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Weymouth.
