Perry, David Stanley age 81 years of Cambridge, passed away at the Valley Regional Hospital on January 20, 2014.
Born on August 22, 1932 in South Ohio, Yarmouth Co.; he was the son of the late Clifford and Lizzie (Cann) Perry.
Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Geraldine; daughters Valerie Hudson of Oshawa, ON, Marlene Millington (Dave) of Oshawa, ON, Veronica Cottenden (Burt) of Peterborough, ON, Karen Morrison (Bradley) of St. Thomas, ON and Vicki Eichhorn (Chris) of Ajax, ON; sons David (Nisa), Steve (Kim) , Wendell (Lynn) all of Oshawa, ON and Ken (Barb) of Markham, ON; brother Ralph (wife May predeceased)of Kentville; sister Elsie Kent (Oland) of Browns Flat, NB; stepsons Terry (Lynn) Smith of Charlottetown; Peter Smith (Christine) of Melanson, and Chris Smith of Coldbrook; step daughter Lisa Pynn of Wolfville; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He will be also sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and a large number of extended family members and friends.
Stan was a crane operator with various companies in Ontario and Nova Scotia. He also enjoyed boating in Mahone Bay.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 from 5-7pm at the Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, Coldbrook Chapel.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 2pm from the New Hope Wesleyan Methodist Church, Hwy #12 with Rev. Scott Prime officiating.
Family flowers only please. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Stan made to the New Hope Wesleyan Methodist Church building fund (P.O. Box 903, Kentville, NS B4N4H8) or charity of the donor's choice.
