Comeau, David Leo - 67, Melanson Manor, Weymouth, formerly of Fort Point Road, Weymouth, passed away peacefully, January 2, 2014, after a long illness with COPD in Digby General Hospital. Born in Gilbert's Cove, Digby Co., he was a son of the late Frank and Clotilde Comeau. David was a supervisor for the Department Of Highways, Digby County for 12 years. He is survived by wife, Verna Mellor, Weymouth; daughter, Amy: son, Ryan; grandson, Christopher Comeau; sisters,Carol, Vancouver; brother, Robert, Alberta; stepdaughter,Rebecea Walker; stepsons, Kevin,ON; Ken, Wayne, Blair all of Weymouth;Bruce, Halifax; 8 step grandchildren; one step great grandson. In keeping with David's wishes cremation has taken place. There will be no services by family request. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.serenitylindsayfuneralhome.ca .
