Born on June 13, 1946 on Mill Road, New Ross; he was the son of the late Atwood and Helen Levy. Jack left school at an early age to enter the workforce. He was employed by the Logan Drilling Company as a Class A Diamond Driller for 15 years at which time he travelled the Atlantic provinces drilling. Jack was a hard worker, as his great nieces Mattea said – “Uncle Jack does not like idle hands when there is a job to be done.” He was a bit mischievous for which he always blamed Captain Morgan for; he also had a kind and generous heart.
