Obituary of Philip Randolph Dinn

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Philip R. Dinn on November 21, 2013. After a courageous battle with cancer, Philip passed in the loving comfort of his partner Julie Snair at Kentville Regional Valley Hospital in Nova Scotia. Philip is predeceased by his parents, Olive and Philip, his sister Patricia, his brothers Jerome, Noel and David and his life friend Mercedes Barry. Philip will be greatly missed by his partner Julie, who shared a special, beautiful relationship with Philip, Liam, Philip's grandson and light of his life, Paula ,Frankie-Paul, Anya, Kai, Nicholas and his granddaughter Amiah, who dearly will miss her Poppa. A deep loss will be felt by brothers Douglas (Shelley), Robert (Diane), Brian (Crystal) and sister Kathy (Colin), numerous members of his extended family and his friends in the art communities of St. John's and Halifax. Philip's intelligent humour, artistic creativity and warm, loving smile were a gift to everyone he touched and will be forever missed.
