Mac Isaac, Roderick Alexander, 71 of Waterville, Kings Co. passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at home with his wife at his side. Born in South Branch, Nfld. He was the son of the late Cornelius & Matilda (Brake) Mac Isaac. Prior to his retirement to Nova Scotia, he was employed with Maple Leaf Foods in Toronto for many years. Besides his parents he was predeceased by an infant son, Roderick; brothers: Roy, Joseph, Leo and his favorite sister-in-law, Cecelia. Rod is survived by his wife, Betty Jean (Smith); daughters: Mary (Robert) Vaughn, Keswick,Ont.; Annette (Keith) McIntyre, London, Ont.; Betty Mac Isaac, Toronto, Ont.; Darlene Mac Isaac, Sydney, N.S.; son, Roderick (Kelli) Mac Isaac, Agincourt, Ont.; sister, Elizabeth (Angus) Mc Neil, Doyles, Nfld.; brothers: Cornelius, St. Catherine??s, Ont.; Addian (Lil), Gilford, Ont.; Michael (Delores), Pickering, Ont.; Gerrard (Jeanette), Pickering, Ont.; six stepchildren; Susan (Gordon) Chute, Edmonton, AB.; Bill (Janet) Henderson, Edmonton, AB.;Tim (Audrey) Henderson, Harbourville, N.S.; Debbie (Paul) Ouimet, St. Albert, AB.; Victor (Gina) Henderson, Toronto, Ont.; Rick (Roni) Henderson, Edmonton, AB.; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place under the care & direction of the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr, Coldbrook. A grave side service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or to a charity of choice.
