Pye, Peggy Lynn "Piffer", 49, of New Ross, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2008 at the QEII, Halifax. Born in Bridgewater she was a daughter of Betty (Lantz) Broome and the late Arnold Broome. She was the loving wife of Emery Pye and mother of Katelyn and stepdaughters; Darla (Junior) Lynch, Tracy (Andrew) Hiltz and Tammy (Matt Dill). Seven step grandchildren; Danielle, Jolie and Jase Lynch; Twana and Chloe Hiltz, and Dylan and Destiny Schofield. She is also survived by sisters: Chella (Vincent) Robar, Janice (Glen) Pye and Suzette (Elson) Boylan. Brothers: Darrell (Sonya), Dale (Bonnie), David (Sherry), Alan (Ann), Craig (Janet) and Wade (Tammy) and numerous nephews and nieces. Peggy has worked at various occupations over the years and most recently could be found at Gina??s Hairstyling sharing her zest for life. Peggy will always be remembered for her loving personality and will be forever missed. She was a friend to everyone she met and left us with a feeling of peace and happiness but much to early. Her smile will enlighten us all forever. Cremation has taken place under the care of the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Drive, Coldbrook. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2008 at Christ Church Anglican, New Ross. Rev. Leonard Bednar officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to the charity of one??s choice.
