Durling, Eva Lillian, 84, of North Alton, Kings Co. passed away suddenly, Monday, January 21, 2008 in the QEII Health Sciences Center, Infirmary Site, Halifax. Born in Aldersville, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Florence (Hiltz) Burgoyne. Eva was a member of St. James Anglican Church, Kentville. She is survived by her husband, Alden; son, Kirk (Nancy), New Minas; grandchildren: Kevin, New Glasgow; Karen, New Minas; Kristy, New Minas; great grandchildren: Moriah, Austen, Timothy and Noah; sisters: Mary Walsh, Kingston; Helen Smith, Aylesford; Edith Russell, North Alton. She was predeceased by brothers: Perley Clifton and Ray. Cremation has taken place, under the care & direction of the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., (Exit 14), Coldbrook. A private funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 24 in St. James Anglican Church, Kentville. Rev. Lynn Uzans officiating. Interment will be in Garden of Rest Cemetery, Kentville at a later date. No visitation or flowers by family request.
