Obituary of Kathleen Legge

Legge, Kathleen Annie (Morley), 96, of Greenwich, KingsCounty, passed away Friday, February 9, 2007 at Rose-Marie Home Care Residence, Hantsport. Born in New Ross she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Agatha (Boylan) Morley. Kathleen was a school teacher for over 36 years having taught in various schools from the Eastern Shore to the Annapolis Valley. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association and a long standing member of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Parish for over 60 years. She enjoyed sewing, knitting & crocheting table cloths for her family. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by son: James (Carol) of Greenwich; daughters: Marina (Douglas)Murray, Halifax, Stella Murphy, Halifax; grandchildren: Natasha, Pamela, Brian, Anthony, Louise, Garth Peter, Kathleen, Carmen, Hubert, Steven and Julie and 11 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Lewis, brothers: Jack and Richard and sisters: Adeline, Mary and Annie. Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, Coldbrook .Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 12 at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Wolfville. Father Craig Christenson officiating. A reception will follow the service in the downstairs of the rectory. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Kentville. Family flowers only by request.
