Obituary of Sandra Lewis Sarson

Lewis Sarson, Sandra Gail - 57 of Kentville, Kings Co., passed away Saturday, September 9th 2006 at the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Montreal, Quebec, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Gertrude (Blagrave) Lewis. Sandra was a hairdresser for her lifetime and was also employed for a time at Evergreen Home for Special Care, Kentville where the residents & co-workers there, were considered her extended family. Sandra was an active member of the Baha'i faith. She is survived by her husband: Allan; son: Derrick (Kelly) Lewis, Petawawa, Ont.; granddaughter: Hannah, at home; Aunt: Winnifred Lovelace, North Kentville; sister: Sylvia Labelle, Montreal, Que.; nephew: Peter Labelle, Cornwall, Ont.; niece: Natasha Labelle, Toronto, Ont.; step-mother: Mary Goucher, Sutton, Que. She was predeceased by aunt Gwen Scott. Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 7-9p.m. today and the funeral service will be 1:30p.m. Tuesday both from the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Drive, Coldbrook. Interment will take place at Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor, N.S. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Evergreen Home for Special Care.
