Dalton, Beverly Joan, 67, of 3948 Black Rock Road, Waterville passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2006 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, September 30, 1938, she was a daughter of the late John James and Jean Frances (Vivian) Robinson. Beverly was a member of the Sharon Club of the Waterville Baptist Church, a member of Ortona Branch #69, Royal Canadian Legion, Berwick, a member of the Annapolis Valley Bluegrass & Old Time Music Association, a past member of the Black Rock Community Association and a volunteer for the Canadian Cancer Society. Beverly was a wonderful wife and mother and was well known for her knitting and sewing. She is survived by her husband, Alfred; 4 daughters: Debra Joan (Gary) Grandy, Beaver Bank; Susan Helen (Dan) McKenzie, Hammonds Plains; Doreen Marion (Warren) McClare, New Minas; Jacqueline Faye (Randal) Vandertuin, Black Rock; 7 grandchildren: Casandra, Megan, Bevie, Andrew, Nicole, Jakob and Thomas; brothers: George (Nadine) Victoria, B.C.; James (Denise), Montreal; sisters: Helen Kathleen Crawford, Uxbridge, Ont; Nadine (Roger) Donais, Maple Ridge, B.C.; Leslie (Jimmy) Newcombe, Eastern Passage & Pamela (Bob) Travis, Dartmouth. She was predeceased by a brother, Jackie. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be 7 to 9p.m. Friday June 23, 2006 in the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, Coldbrook. Funeral service will be 2:00p.m. Saturday, June 24, 2006 at the Waterville Baptist Church, with the Ortono Branch #69 holding a service in conjunction with the funeral. Rev. Randy Crozier officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Waterville Baptist Church.
