Russell, John Forbes, 76, of Berwick, Kings Co., dear husband of Grace Andrina (Shepherd) went to sleep Friday, March 7th, 2008 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Lake Wilcox, Ontario, he was the son of the late William W. and Daisy (Forbes) Russell. Loved dad of Moira (companion Tim Benjamin ) Auburn ; son in law, Tim Lutz; Andrina (Mark Postill) Sarnia, Ont. Deirdre (Marc Beaulac) Phoenix, Arizona. He was papa to 9 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren. John was predeceased by brother, William James and son in law, Tom Westcott. He was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Ortona Branch #69, Berwick, N.S.. There will be no visitation in the funeral home by family request. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Drive, Coldbrook. A celebration of John??s life will take place in the Royal Canadian Legion, Ortona Branch #69, Berwick from 1-3pm Sunday March 16, 2008, with legion tribute service at 1:00 p.m. Many thanks to Drs. Vats, Mac Eachern, Mac Innis & the nurses of the medical floor for their care and kindness to John.
