Finigan, Michael Keith, 65, of Canard, Kings Co. It is with great sadness we announce that Dad passed away suddenly in the Halifax Infirmary, QE11, on Sunday, July 11, 2010. Born in Digby, he was the son of the late Bradford and Evelyn (Denton) Finigan. Dad had a way about him that put people at ease and was loved by all he met. Michael is survived by his five children: Steven (Lexi), Moncton, N.B.; Janine (Kevin) Savoury ,D??Escousse; Jennifer (Steve) Lowrey, Parksville, B.C.; Aaron (Nathalie), Calgary, AB; Joel (Myra), Canard; his beloved grandchildren: Katina, Klarissa, Kaitlyn, Kristen, Kelsie, Julie, Liam, Kiera, Riley, Brody, Brielle and Callum. He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters. He was predeceased by his wife of 44 years, Brenda (Deveau) and brother, Brad. We Love You Forever, Dad. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 19 in the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook (Exit 14). Pastor Eva VanBuskirk officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of one??s choice.
