Lescaudron, Alan Andrew - 51, of Berwick, Kings Co., passed away Thursday, July 1, 2010 at the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. After a fifteen year struggle with pancreatitis & severe diabetes. Born October 28, 1958 in Annapolis Royal, Annapolis Co., he was the son of Sylvia Wagstaff and the late John Lescaudron. He attended schools in Granville Ferry, Somerset & West Kings. Most of his working years were spent on the Oil Rigs out in Alberta. Alan loved hunting, fishing & camping. Besides his mother, he is survived by his companion &best friend, Jocelyn (Lutz) Belliveau; daughter, Melissa (Carl) Hengerer and their two sons, Austin & Drake of Alberta; sister, Darlene Durling; half sisters, Karla Wagstaff & Kelly (Andrew) Tracey; half brother, Christopher (Karen) Wagstaff; step father, Charles Wagstaff; grandmother, Frances Shepherd of Annapolis Royal and several nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by grandparents, Boyd & Edna Hazelwood & step grandfather, Jimmy Shepherd. The late Alan Andrew Lescaudron is resting at the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Drive, Coldbrook (Exit 14). Visitation will held from 7-9 p.m., Monday and the funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday both from the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, Coldbrook. Rev. Marilyn Rose officiating. Interment will take place at Berwick Cemetery, Berwick. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Alan may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
