Cousineau, Drayton Junior, 80 of Kingston, Kings Co., passed away Saturday, June 05, 2010 in the Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Smith??s Falls, ON., he was the son of the late Medric & Lila (Craig) Cousineau. Drayton was retired from the Canadian Armed Forces after 21 years of service. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion,Branch # 98, Kingston; member & past president of the C.A.V.U.N.P. Association (William Hall V.C.) Greenwood Chapter and a past grand knight 4th degree, Knights of Columbus. He was an avid outdoorsman, especially enjoying hunting & fishing. Drayton is survived by his long time, common law companion, Barbara Seamone, Kingston; sons: Medric (Jocelyn), Eastern Passage; Glenn (Sherri Lynn), Stellarton; grandchildren, Lindsey & Jennifer; step children, Cathy (Ed) Mullock, Virginia (Mike) Mullock; grandchildren, Angela, Krista, Darren and Jonathan; Kaitlyn and Brodie; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Lillian Armstrong, Stroud, ON. He was predeceased by his first wife, Joyce (Villeneuve); brothers: Stanley, John and Douglas; sisters, Faye Cousineau and Essie Mulley. Cremation has taken place under the care & direction of the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook. A celebration of life service will be held from 1:00 ??? 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 8th in the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 98, Kingston. Padre Cordell Levy officiating. No flowers by family request, donations may be made to the I.W.K. Children??s Hospital, c/o Child Life Department,Halifax or to a charity of one's choice.
