Miller, Clinton Eugene, 105, of Kingston formerly of Bear River passed away Sunday, February 21, 2010 at Soldier??s Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Bear River he was a son of the late Carl Bogart and Josephine (Riley) Miller. Clinton moved to the United States as a young man and served in the United States Military for less than two years in the 1920??s before he got married in 1929, he then worked in construction until his retirement at which time he moved back to Nova Scotia. He joined the Masonic Lodge in 1944 and was a member of The Keith??s Masonic Lodge #16, Bear River and held his 65 year bar. He was also a member of the Eureka Chapter #5, Annapolis Royal, Royal Archmasons of Nova Scotia. He is survived by daughter: Kathleen (Tom) Martin, Olivebridge, N.Y.; sons: Clinton Jr. (Roberta), Camphill, PA., Richard (Lori), Doyletown, PA, caregivers: Sue & Tim Mackintosh, Kingston, N.S., 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Clinton was much loved by all who knew him. He was predeceased by his first wife the former Dorothy Field, his second wife Dorothy Cleveland Miller, brothers: Beverley, Frank W., Reginald and Hugh Theodore "Ted". The late Clinton Eugene Miller is resting at the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Drive, (Exit 14) Coldbrook where visitation will be 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, February 26. A Masonic graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 27 at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bear River, conducted by Mr. Doug Miller.
