Wentzell, Barbara Marilyn, 76, of North Kingston, Kings Co., passed away on November 16, 2009 in the Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Conqueral Bank, Lunenburg Co. she was a daughter of the late Gordon & Annie (Rafuse) Fraser. For those who knew Barb, they knew a woman that lived her life with a zest and fire that sparkled in her eyes. A spark that still shone bright in her last hours. But Barbara will undoubtedly be most remembered for the unfaltering, unbounded and unconditional love she had for those she cared for the most??? her family. She loved her family with an unwavering devotion that ran through every fiber of her body and soul. If asked, Barbara would proudly see her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren as her most shining achievement. Love is the legacy that Barbara Wentzell leaves behind. A legacy that will be carried on in the hearts of her loving husband, four children, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Barb will be dearly missed but the memory of her bright laugh, strong spirit and warm heart will numb the sting of this loss and soon bring smiles to the faces of all those who knew and loved her. We will love you always. Surviving her are, her husband, Daren; son, Gregory; daughters: Debby Knudson, Sandra Wentzell, Belinda Kerfont; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren; sisters: Jean Fraser, Betty Garrison, Marie MacDonald, Shirley Gow, Rita Cochrane and Helen Cole; brothers: Weldon and Ronald Fraser. She was predeceased by sister, Connie and brother, Keith. Cremation has taken place under the care & direction of the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook.
