Obituary of Mae Haayer

Haayer, Mae Roseanne (Richards), 70 of Windemere, Kings Co. passed away at home on May 24th, 2009, surrounded by the loving arms of her family. She was born September 8th 1938 in Rockland, Kings Co. and was the daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy (Haughn) Richards. She is survived by her loving husband, George and children John (Barb) Haayer, Waterville; Jesse (Julie) Haayer, Berwick; Dotty (Bryan) Haayer, Harbourville; George (Bernice) Haayer ,Waterville; 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and brother Everette (Margaret) Richards, Berwick. She will be sadly missed by her dog, Bim. Mae was an employee of Weavexx for 33 years and cherished her second family there. She was a thoughtful, loving and special person to her family and friends. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Drive, Coldbrook. A funeral service will be held at 2:00p.m. Friday May 29th, from the Berwick Baptist Church, Berwick. Officiating is the Rev. Clyde Lowe. A private interment will take place in Berwick Cemetery and a reception will follow in the church annex. Donations in memory of Mae may be made to the Harbourville Restoration Society.
