Reid, Muriel Olive, 87 of Waterville, Kings Co. passed away at home on Sunday, April 19, 2009 with her daughters, Sheila & Karen by her side. Born in Waterville, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Eva (Redman) Lightfoot. Muriel was a life long member of the Waterville Baptist Church . She is survived by her daughters: Pearl (Jack) Suderman, Edmonton, AB; Sheila (Edwin Avery), Grafton; and Karen, Waterville; son, Harold Jr.(Patricia), Dempsey??s Corner; 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren & 1 great-great grandchild; sister, Eunice Meisner, Berwick. Muriel was predeceased by her parents, daughter, Eileen Smith, sister, Winnifred Lightfoot and 3 siblings in infancy. Cremation has taken place under the care & direction of the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook. At the family??s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will take place at a later date.
