Jones, Ronald Robert ??? 70 of Berwick, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 29,2011 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Joggins, he was a son of the late William & Ida (Leadley) Jones. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Ron is survived by his wife, Susan (Scrymgeour); three sons: Brad, Halifax; Gregory, Lower Sackville, & Kevin (Karla), Calgary, Alberta; two grandchildren: Faith & Keaghan. He was predeceased by two sisters: Winnifred Jones, Ruth Kidney, & his Aunt, Thelma Leadley. Ron had his own construction business, Arjay Construction. Cremation has taken place under the care & direction of the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Drive, Coldbrook. A graveside service will be held at 11:00a.m. Monday, Dec.5th A private interment will held in Mount Hermon Cemetery, Dartmouth. A reception will follow to honor Ron??s life for extended family & friends, at 1p.m. at the Halifax Shrine Club, 3530 Connolly Street. A special thank you to Jocelyn Foster for her care spent till the end. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Ron may be made to the charity of choice.
