Harrigan, Henry Myron, 80 of New Minas, Kings Co. passed away on Friday, May 10, 2013 at home. He was born in Parrsboro. Henry served in the Korean War & in his working career, was a meat cutter & bus driver. He was a Boy Scout leader in Canning for many years as well as a member of the Canning Volunteer Fire Department and member of the Kentville Branch, Royal Canadian Legion. Surviving are his wife, Joan Connors; daughters, Brenda, Yarmouth and Jo-Ann (Stephen) Thomas, Canning ; son, Timothy, Kentville; granddaughters, Kirstie (Les) Card, Kentville; Colleen, Kentville; Jennifer (Jeff) MacDonald, Ontario; great grandchildren, Zachary & Greydon Henry MacDonald, Ontario. He was predeceased by his parents. Cremation has taken place under the care & direction of the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Coldbrook. There will be no visitation by request. A private family service will be held with Rev. David Garrett officiating. Interment at a later date.
