Robar, Vincent Frederick-66 of Forties, Lunenburg Co. It is with great sadness that we share the sudden death of a dear brother, father & friend. Born in Berwick, he was the eldest son of the late Cecil & Dona (Taylor) Robar. He is survived by his companion, Lucille Keddy, New Ross; son, Bradley, Canning; daughters, Victoria Derksen, Beamsville, Ont. & Elizabeth Felker, St. Anns, Ont.; several grandchildren; brother, Jeffery (Julia), Morristown; sisters, Faye Casey, & Fern Robar both of New Minas & several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Chella (Broome) & infant sister, Carrollyn . Vincent owned and operated Robar Trucking. He also had Christmas trees and a scrap yard. Vincent had a great sense of humour and liked nothing more then to joke around and play tricks. He will be sadley missed. Cremation has taken place under the care & direction of the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Drive, Coldbrook. There will be no visitation by family request. The funeral service will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, September 19, 2012 from the Forties Community Centre, Forties. Rev. Chad Clements officiating. Private interment will take place in the NewRoss Baptist Cemetery, New Ross. A reception will follow after the burial in the Forties Community Centre, Forties. Family flowers only.
