They moved from one home to another throughout Kings County over the years. She was a member of St. Andrews United Church, Wolfville. She completed a Home Nursing course with the Red Cross Society. Mom loved gardening and handicrafts, entering her crewel embroidery on linen in seniors competitions. She volunteered with many different organizations and in later years picked apples for Stirlings in Melanson. She enjoyed searching for antiques and collectibles at yard sales, socializing at card parties, and making new friends. Mom is survived by daughters Leah Jean (Robert) Lawrence of Brookfield, and Heather Dianne (Terry) Hennigar of Greenwich; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; brother William (Marguerite) Biggs of Melanson; many nieces and nephews.
