Morine, Evelyn June – age 54 years of Hantsport; passed away peacefully at home on October 21, 2013. Born in Windsor on November 3, 1958; she was the daughter of Joan (Lunn) Starratt and the late Starr Starratt. Evelyn enjoyed knitting, camping, playing horseshoes and washers. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially the light of her life, her granddaughter Jersy. Left with fond and loving memories are her devoted husband of 36 years Danny Morine of Hantsport; children Michael Morine (Shana Miller) of Hantsport and Linda Morine (Trevor Chute) of Bishopville; mother Joan Starratt of Bishopville; beloved granddaughter Jersy; brothers Rick Starratt (Brenda) and Tony Starratt both of Bishopville; sister Joan Newcomb of Musquodobit; also by many nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family members and friends. Predeceased by her father Starr Starratt; maternal grandparents Brett and Flossie Lunn; paternal grandparents Charles and Lena Starratt. In keeping with Evelyn’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the Bishopville Baptist Church on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 2pm with Rev. Terry Coldwell officiating. Burial to follow at the Bishopville Cemetery. Donations in memory of Evelyn made by made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Thank You to the VON doctors and nurses for the excellent care that was given to Evelyn.
