Obituary of Parker Kinsman Schofield

Parker Kinsman Schofield May 22, 1936 - August 19, 2013 Age 77 years of Wolfville, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 19, 2013 at the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Wolfville on May 22, 1936; he was a son to the late Frederick and Dorothy (Keddy) Schofield. Parker was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors. He is survived by his loving children Gary Graves (Jackie) of Noel Shore, Wanda Paquin (Terry) of Ontario, Randy Schofield (Kathy) of White Rock and Dena Bowerman (Wade) of Red Deer, Alberta; grandchildren Steven (Nathalie), Rhonda and Andrea Schofield; great granddaughter Emelie Schofield; brothers Fred (Margaret) of St. Croix and Paul (Sadie) of Wolfville Ridge; sister Nina Rogers (Doug) of Wolfville also by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents; Parker was predeceased by his loving wife Adell in 2007; brother Lawrence (in infancy); sister Marion (in infancy) and granddaughter Tammy. In keeping with Parker’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held at the Willowbank Cemetery on Monday, August 26, 2013 at 11am with Rev Gary Manthorne officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Parker’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
