Drew, Reginald Dean âRegâ â age 78 years of Auburn; passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Valley Regional Hospital on May 24, 2013. Born in Berwick on October 30, 1934; he was the son of the late Ford and Frances (Sullivan) Drew. Reg was a well-known barber and worked throughout the Valley for 57 years. He loved gardening, hunting and fishing; but most of all loved spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren. Reg will always be remembered for his great sense of humor. Left with fond and loving memories are his devoted wife of 56 years Frances (Whitman) Drew of Auburn; children Darlene MacEachern (Fred) of Inverness and their children Natalee, John, Cindy and Brett; Bill Drew (Lynn Ann Gloade) of Tantallon; Glenda Hirtle (Brian) of Viewmount and their children Marylee, Craig and Chris; Joanne Crocker (Bill) of East Torbrook and their children Ashley, Kristin and Janyne; Ken (Lisa) Drew of Halifax and daughter Mackenzie; great grandchildren Hector, Leeann, Logan, Rian, Liam, Aiden, Catherine and Leah; sisters Ruby Morton (Waldo), Audrey Boylan and Gayle Smith; brothers Wayne Drew and David (Elaine) Drew. Predeceased by his parents Ford and Frances Drew and sister Gwen Hutchinson. In keeping with Regâs wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on Monday, May 27, 2013 from 6-8pm at the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick Chapel where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 10am with Pastor Chad Clements officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Reg made to the Soldiers Memorial Hospital or the Valley Regional Hospital would be greatly appreciated by his family.
