Margeson, Bruce Banard - 74, of Windsor passed away peacefully at home on April 24, 2013. Born in Saint John, NB, he was the son of the late Carl and Kathleen (Sanderson) Margeson. Bruce spent his working years as a labourer, and he was also a caring and generous Scout and Cub master in his younger years in Hantsport. Bruce was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for fishing, hunting, and gardening. He was also a handyman with a willingness to lend a hand to anyone. Bruce loved and was proud of his family. Bruce is survived by his loving wife Stella (Peach) Margeson; sons Amos (Tresure) Margeson, Springhill, Carl (Anne) Margeson, Oxford; daughter Darlene (Stanley) Ellis, Oxford; stepson Greg (Janet) Hill, Falmouth; stepdaughters Jocelyn (James Crispell) Hill, Lethbridge, AB, Kim (Michel) Bourgeois, Windsor; foster sisters Doreen Riggs, Campbell River, BC, Yvonne Harvey, Truro; grandchildren Lydia, Emma, Eryn, David, Tyler, and Bryan Margeson, Matthew, Timothy, and Dylan Ellis; step grandchildren Tamara Hudgins, Jodi and Jordan Stevens, Matthew and Meghan Myles, Kaylyn Lawrence; and 8 great grandchildren. Predeceased by foster sister Doris Harvey. Private burial will take place at Maplewood Cemetery with Rev. Bill Gibson officiating. A celebration of life will follow at the Windsor Royal Canadian Legion Branch 9 from 2 to 4 p.m. on Monday April 29th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Bruce to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Hants West Wildlife Association.
