Arleen was a great and long time friend with a great sense of fun. She even allowed our son, who was in kindergarten in New Jersey at the time to take her to his school as his 'show and tell' item. Arleen was a big hitthat day! And she loved telling that story. Will miss you friend. Rest in peace. Joyce & Phil

Most of my memories of Arleen taken place between 1940 and 1960 at a time when our families enjoyed so much time together. I remember during those years Arleen was indeed a helpful and caring person. Our lives taken us many miles apart however, on occasion our paths did cross. Arleens last visit to Ontario although short was long enough to see she was still a helpful and caring person who had achieved so much. Arleen will be missed by all those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Istill can't believe that she is really gone. She fought the good fight right to the end. I am thankful that all her suffering is over. I will miss her terribly because we used to talk every Sunday. I visited last summer and we had a very good visit. She said that would probably be the last time that we would see one another, I guess that she was right. Lovingly Marlene

So sad to hear, she was a teacher who you could always depend on. I had her for grade 10 math at West Kings and she was a great teacher, she will always be remembered as one of the strictest teachers, ha ha, but a teacher who cared enough about her students and their education. Forever in our hearts. You will be missed by many.
