Obituary of Jesse David-Lee Davidson

Davidson, Jesse David-Lee – 23, of Kentville; passed away suddenly on Friday, February 1, 2013 at home. Born in Kentville; he was a son of David Shaw, Kentville; and Nancy Davidson, Gaspereau. Jesse graduated from Horton High School and went to Kingstec Campus to complete his trade as an Electrician. He worked for Michelin for just over a year until he decided to return to Kingstec to complete his Mechanics Course. Jesse was kind hearted, he had a great personality, and could light up a room just by walking through the door. His family will remember him for many reasons but most of all for his gorgeous smile. Jesse thought the world of his two grandmothers and he was very proud of each and every member of his family. Besides his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandmother Katherine “Kye” (Nauss) Shaw, Coldbrook; maternal grandparents Malcolm and Marie (Butler) Davidson, Gaspereau; brothers Dusten, Kentville; Colten, Wolfville; sister Courtney Robinson, Wolfville; uncles Terry (Phyllis), Gaspereau; Ricky (Tina Benjamin-Parsons), Kingston; Louie, Gaspereau; Thane Shaw, Coldbrook; aunts Karen (James) Barry, Moosomin, Saskatchewan; Michelle (Joseph Johnstone) Ferguson, New Minas; and several cousins. Jesse is predeceased by his paternal grandfather Hillis Shaw; and uncle Steven Barnaby. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 6th, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 568 Main Street, Wolfville with a Funeral Service in the Gaspereau Baptist Church on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Gary Manthorne and Reverend Mark Shaw officiating; followed by a reception in the Gaspereau Community Hall. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jesse’s memory will be placed in a trust account to go towards his siblings education.
