Obituary of Marilyn Laura Roode

ROODE, Marilyn Laura (Kaulback) - 73, Belmont, Colchester Co., passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday December 12, 2012 with her family by her side. Born in Belmont on September 7, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Odella (Hiltz) Kaulback. Marilyn was a loving mother and grandmother, and extended that love to all of her foster children. Marilyn is survived by her sister Sandra Wheaton, Wheaton Settlement, NB; her daughter Joanne (Marshall) Weir, Belmont; granddaughters Jennifer (Kelly) Rushton, Londonderry, Sandra Bishop, Calgary, Alta.; grandsons James (Jocelyn) Sands, Grande Prairie, Alta., Jesse Edwards, Calgary, Alta., ten great grandchildren and her special children Percey Murray, London, Ont., Kendall Ewart, Amherst, Patricia Weir, Glenholme. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son Floyd Gregory Roode. There will be no visitation or funeral service by request. Burial will take place in the Spring at the Belmont Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Belmont Cemetery Fund or the Colchester Food Bank.
