Reeves, Arthur Russell - 85, of New Ross, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at home on Saturday, December 8, 2012. He was a son of the late Robert and Daisy (Keddy). Arthur had a passion for fiddling, fishing, and hunting. He is survived by his companion Bea Larder; sons Allan (Diane) Pheffer, Long Island, New York; Scott (Janice), New Ross; daughters Nancy (David Ramey), New Ross; Connie (Edward) Pardy, Williamswood; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brothers Ashton (Shirley), New Ross; Dean (Mona), New Ross; Parker (Shirley), Oromocto, New Brunswick; sister Sylvia Webber, Chester Basin; extended family Janet; Beth; Diane; Susan; Laurel; and their families. Besides his parents Arthur is predeceased by his wife Reta (Veinott); daughter in infancy Lennie; brothers Blaine; and Cecil; sisters Bertha Russell; and Dora Oakley. A visitation will take place in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 4935 Highway #12, New Ross on Tuesday December 11th 7-9 p.m. with the memorial service being held on Wednesday in the Christ Anglican Church, New Ross at 2:00 p.m., The Reverend Judi Phillips officiating. Interment at the Christ Anglican Cemetery, New Ross. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Susan Larder and Shelley Reeves for their care and compassion during Arthur?¢s illness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Ross Volunteer Fire Department or the Christ Anglican Church.
