Obituary of Nellie Laura Jessop

JESSOP, Nellie Laura (Watson) - 85, Greenwood formerly of Hantsport passed away November 13, 2012 at the Windsor Elms Village, Falmouth. Born in St. Croix on August 30, 1927 she was a daughter of the late Wallace - Cap쳌 and Laura (Tanner) Watson. Nellie retired from C.K.F. in 1992. She enjoyed traveling through the Maritimes and the New England States. She bowled in the Hantsport Women?¢s League and was a league statistician for the Hantsport Men?¢s League for many years. Nellie especially liked spending time with her friends at the cottage on Lake Mush a Mush. Nellie is survived by sons, Greg (Della) Maguire, Hantsport, Garnet (Marie) Maguire, Riverport; daughter, Debbie Maguire, Greenwood; grandchildren, Shawn, Stacey, Michael, Christian, Hamilton; great grandchildren, Skylar, Andrew, Kayla, Abbey; sisters, Annie Brown, Windsor Elms Village, Joyce (Keith) McInnis, Hantsport and brother Herman, Qualicum Beach, BC. Besides her parents, Nellie was predeceased by a brother Norman - Porky쳌 and with sadness, brother Leslie on the same day as her passing. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday November 20, 2012 in Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Wolfville. Family flowers only.
