Obituary of Bruce Frederick Newcombe

Newcombe, Bruce Frederick, 46, of New Minas passed away October 30, 2012 at home. Born in Kentville, Nova Scotia, he was the son of John and Patricia Newcombe, Centreville. Bruce was a graduate of the Cornwallis District High School in Canning, and attended the Nova Scotia Agricultural College in Truro, and the Kingstec Community College, Kentville. During Bruce?¢s youth he was an active member of the farm community in the Canard and Canning area. Bruce led a courageous life since his accident in 1987 and found faith in his friends, family and church. Besides his parents he is survived by his brothers Ian (Andrea), Upper Dyke, Scott (Cynthia), Cambridge and sister Lesley (Mike) Bauer, Arpin, Wisconsin. He was the proud uncle of Rachel and William Newcombe, Leah and Kaylee Newcombe and James and Katlyn Bauer. His dear friend Ann Marie Rogers, Kentville, also survives him. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, November 3rd at 2pm in the Bethany Memorial Baptist Church in Aldershot, with Rev Thelma McLeod officiating. Interment in the Burgess Cemetery in Canard at a later date. Family flowers only. Donations can be made to the Lung Association of Nova Scotia.
