McNeil, Robert Kenneth - 54, of Berwick, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 14, 2012 in the Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton; with his family by his side. Born in Berwick, he was a son of the late James McNeil and Viola (Dayle) McNeil Vidito. Robert was a jack of all trades and could do anything he put his mind to but most recently he was employed with Michelin, Waterville. Robert enjoyed all outdoor activities including fishing, four wheeling, and long drives with Mary. He loved the ocean. As well Robert was fond of quitar and drawing. He was a very passionate and compassionate man and would do anything for anyone. He will be remembered for his amazingly funny sense of humor. Robert will be dearly missed by his partner Mary Cantle, Sackville; sons Robert (Alisha Youden), Kingston; Jeffrey, Red Deer, AB; daughter Jessica, Edmonton, AB; grandchildren Sharaden, Brooke, Madison, Ethan, Narrissa; brothers George (Janice), Berwick; Ronald, Auburn; Gary, Dorchester; sister Carol (Brian) Cook, Windermere; sister-in-law Karen; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Robert is predeceased by his brother James. In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-4 p.m. in the Windermere Community Hall on Saturday October 27th. There will be an opportunity for people to share their memories of Robert and also an open Jam Session for anyone wanting to participate. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Kings County VON in Robert`s memory. Family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Johnny Oliver Band for their special visit to Robert during his illness.
