Obituary of Ivy Isabel Skelhorn

SKELHORN, Ivy Isabel - 85, Windsor passed away August 11, 2012 in Haliburton Place, Windsor. Born in Wentworth she was a daughter of the late Norman and Mary (McLeod) Baxter. Ivy had worked for twenty five plus years at the Dykeland Lodge in Windsor. She also worked a s a nurse with the Kings College School. Earlier she had worked in the Payzant Memorial Hospital, Windsor. Ivy liked to read and do - Fancy Work쳌 (Needlepoint). Ivy is survived by son, Bradley (Patricia), Windsor; daughters, Crystal (Joseph) Thompson, Miramichi, New Brunswick, Tanya Skelhorn, Windsor; brother Chester (Margaret) Baxter, Brighton, Ontario; sister, Norma (Mervin Harvey) Etter, Ellershouse; daughter in law, Elizabeth Skelhorn, Windsor Forks; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Ivy was predeceased by her husband Kenneth; son William - Bill쳌; step daughter, Barbara Haley; brothers, Blaine, Clarence. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral by request. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ivy may be made to Haliburton Place, the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of choice.
