Amero, Janet Marie (Raymond) - 74, of Digby, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2012 in the Digby General Hospital, Digby. Born in Weymouth, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Rosie (Brittain). Janet really enjoyed music and she loved Elvis. During her stay at Tideview Terrace some of her favorite things to do were coloring and playing Bingo. Janet also collected stuffed animals. She will be dearly missed by her sons Elmore, Culloden; Llewellyn (Lori), Digby; daughter Nicole Dugas, Digby; grandchildren Michelle Amero; Craig Amero; great grandchildren Emma Keddy; brothers William (Myrtle), Weymouth; Gary, Lawrencetown; Vernon, Cape Breton; Clyde Jr., Yarmouth; sisters Clarice (James) Stoddart, Greenwood; Verna (Maurice) Young, Lunenburg; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Janet is predeceased by brothers in infancy Larry; Ralph; Jessie; and sisters Elizabeth, and Elsie. Donations in her memory may be made to the Digby General Hospital or Tideview Terrace. Memorial service will be held in the United Baptist Church, Ashmore on Tuesday July 10 at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment in the Ashmore United Baptist Church Cemetery, Ashmore with Pastor Randy Risinger officiating.
