BERGGREN, Tina Doreen - 37, of Windsor, Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 3rd, 2012 with her mum and sisters by her side. Born in Windsor on October 13th, 1974, Tina was the daughter of Doreen (Swinamer), Belmont, NS and the late Orland Berggren. She attended Brooklyn Elementary and Hants West. Tina enjoyed music, and playing Yahtzee, especially with her good friend and Aunt, Gail Berggren, whom she beat now and then. Tina also loved crossword puzzles. She was an avid collector of elephants: stuffed, carved, etc. Tina resided in Dykeland Lodge. Although faced with adversity most of her life, Tina was blessed with a positive outlook on life and a kind heart. She was an angel. Tina is survived by her mother, Doreen (Swinamer) Berggren, Windsor; brother Barry (Cheryle), Edson, AB; sisters Christine (Richard) Johnson, Kentville; Janet (Donald) Dowe, Gypsum Mines; nephews Keith Richards (Jenn); Tommy Anthony (Christine); Randy Anthony (Amanda); nieces Emma Berggren (Dan); Abby Berggren (Dan); and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her father Orland and several aunts and uncles. Cremation has taken place. A graveside memorial service will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of Tina may be made to the Belmont Cemetery or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
