DOHERTY, Eileen Joan (Loomer) - 62, of Waterville, passed away on Saturday June 2, 2012 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late Everett and Bernice (Bishop) Loomer. Eileen will be sadly missed by her husband and best friend, of 36 years, Paul; sons Howard, PEI; David, Burlington; daughter Debbie, Berwick; brothers Steven and Peter, both of Burlington; sisters Phyllis, Barb, and Mary, all of Berwick; half brother Roger, Ontario; sister Esther, Black Rock; six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her half brother Wayne; and grandson Matt. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 5 from 7-9 in the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick from where a funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Pastor Christine Bigelow officiating. Private interment will take place in the Black Rock Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
