Anderson, Paul Vernon - 93, of Crouse's Settlement, NS and Bend, Oregon, USA passed away on March 5, 2012 at the SSR hospital, Bridgewater, NS. Born July 4, 1918 in Sheldon, North Dakota, USA, he was the son of the late Frank Anderson and Jessie Anderson. He was a United States Navy Veteran of WW II. Preceded in death by his first wife Mary Delma Anderson, NB. He is survived by his daughter Jeanette Holmquist (Harvey) of Tacoma Washington, USA, son Paul Anderson Jr. of Bend, Oregon, USA, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson, brother C. Robert Anderson (Dorothy) Kingman, AZ, and sister Ruth (Jerry) Valenta, WA. Paul is also survived by his wife Ruby Crouse Anderson of Crouse's Settlement, Nova Scotia, stepsons Bruce Crouse (Judy) of Timberlea, N.S. and Ross Crouse of Lunenburg, N.S., 4 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren. Predeceased also by brother Ray Anderson of Seattle, WA sisters Mildred Fleisch of Sumner, WA and Audrey Erickson of Minnesota. Paul and his wife Ruby were adventurers traveling every 6 months for the last 20 years between Nova Scotia and Oregon, USA. Cremation has taken place. A private family internment will take place at a later date in Sumner, Washington, USA. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home and Crematorium, 568 Main Street, Wolfville, Nova Scotia B4P 1E7.
