Patterson, Albert William - Abbeyì³ - 63, passed away in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville on Saturday February 4, 2012. Born in Berwick, he was a son of the late John and Audrey (Patterson). Albert graduated from the People Worx Technical School program and was recently employed with Safety First. Throughout his life he had many different occupations including: bulldozer driver, dump truck driver, woods laborer, tree farming, flag man and gear carrier, as well as a Bermuda fish salesman - Happy Holiday, Rockfishì³. As you can see Albert was a very hard working man and enjoyed any kind of work he could get his hands on. Albert will be remembered for his eagerness to help anyone. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 39 years, Susan (McNeill), son Joseph (Cheryl Cooper), Middleton; daughter Jocelyn (David) Barnes, Bermuda; brothers Douglas, Auburn; Curtis (Sylvia), Berwick; grandchildren Kelsey Patterson, Davis Barnes; great granddaughter Peyton Patterson; nephew Troy and Lyle; and great nieces Alyviah; Ellen; special friends Gary and Carolyn Lonergan; Mary Lou and Richard Parker; and numerous other friends and family that will never be forgotten but too many to mention. Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 7, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. at the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick from where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday February 8 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Tim Bigelow officiating. Family flowers only. Donations in Albert?¢s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
