Wilbert was my grandfather. The last time we met was in the parking lot near the Canadian Tire store on Quinpool Rd in Halifax. I attended the end of the funeral and seen the Urn his ashes were placed in.
My grandfather was a hardworking person. I miss him.
After he passed, Nanny (his wife) passed. Then Aunt Gina Pace passed. Then Natasha Pace (Daughter of Gina) passed. Then Cousin Natalie Perry passed. Then Uncle Brian Pace passed. And recently (May/2023) Uncle Lorne passed.
Of the 6 children Nanny and Grandpa had, only 2 remain alive. Aunt Bridget and her sister Suzette (my mother).
Everyone has a limited amount of time in this world.
