Cock, Jean Shirley (Taggart) - 82, passed away in the Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton on January 21, 2012 surrounded by family. Jean was born on the family farm in Lower Debert on May 20, 1929. She was a daughter of the late Fred and Katherine (Bigelow) Taggart. Jean is survived by her children, Margaret (Jim) Neuman, Winnipeg, MB; Ian (Bonny) Colburne, Nictaux Falls; Jim (Janet) Colburne, Middleton; Carol Meehan, Debert; Carl Colburne, Kentville; Gordon Colburne, Banff, AB; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, special great granddaughter Josie, and brother David Taggart, London, ON. Besides her parents, Jean is predeceased by her husband Tom; brothers Billy and Harold; and sister Betty. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Soldiers Memorial and Valley Regional Hospital. Cremation has taken place. Service will be held at a later date. Donations in Jean?¢s memory may be made to the Erskine United Church in Glenholm.
