Eaton, Mrs. Cynthia G. (Langille) - 80, Forest Hill passed quietly from this world on New Year?¢s Day 2012. She is pre deceased by Martha and Harold Langille her mother and father of East River, Her sister Farley also her brother Whittman (Whitt). She leaves behind, brother Harold (Junior), sister Verna and brothers Jack, Raymond and Ritchie. She will be sadly missed by her husband Rev. Macpherson Eaton and her children. Mary, Peter (Sherri-Lee) and James. Also grandson?¢s Richard, Joshua, Angus and Benjamin. She also leaves behind great granddaughter?¢s Chelsie and Kaitlyn and step great grandson Nicholas. Mrs. Eaton was born on the 21st day of August 1931 in the Ideal Maternity Home in East Chester. She was the daughter of a poor fisherman from East River. While growing up she was one of the poor children that - hadì³ to take lobster sandwiches to school. She often told the storey of exchanging her Lobster sandwich for Baloney or Peanut Butter and Jam. She gave so much of herself to the community where she lived. She has left a mark on so many people and will be missed by them all. She came from a very modest background and managed to keep in contact with her root values all her life. She was able to help simply by sharing knowledge and understanding. All her life she would give to others. Mrs. Eaton was involved with the Forest Hill Baptist Church where she served as Deaconess. She was always a talented person on the sewing machine. She once sent bean bags to the TV show Romper Room. In her later years she took up quilting. There are quilts across Canada and the United States made with a very loving touch. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today, Tuesday January 3, 2012 in the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Wolfville. A Home going service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday January 4, 2012 in the Gaspereau Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Allison Trites officiating. Burial will be in the Greenfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives at a reception in the Forest Hill United Baptist Church following the interment. Donations in memory of Mrs. Eaton may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
