FENWICK, Shirley Winnifred - 82, of Kentville, passed away on November 27, 2011 at Evergreen Home For Special Care, Kentville. Born in McAdam, New Brunswick, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Mildred (Lindsay) Moore. After graduating from McAdam High School in 1946, Shirley moved to Kentville and was proud to call the Annapolis Valley her home. Shirley was a loving person, taking pride in her family, friends and home. Her creative talents were best seen in her handiwork: cross stitch, sewing, and knitting. She enjoyed playing bridge, and having coffee with one and all. She will be missed by her family and friends. Shirley is survived by her daughters Veronica (Terry Crawford) Fenwick, Kentville; Victoria Fenwick, Toronto; Lisa (Gordy) Craig, Lunenburg; grandson Ryan Fenwick; sister Maxine Hay, St. Stephen, NB; great niece Katherine Hay, Halifax. Besides her parents, Shirley was predeceased by brother-in-law Robert Hay and nephew Gary Hay. There will be no visitation by request. The funeral memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday December 1, 2011 at The United Church of St. Paul and St. Stephen, Kentville with Rev. Dr. Randy Crozman officiating. A private family Interment will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Society of Nova Scotia, or a charity of one?¢s choice.
